Albi gardens France Albi is a city of 50,000 inhabitants, located in the southwest of France, the prefecture of the department of the Tarn Albi and part of the region called Midi-Pyrenées.

About a half-hour north of Albi (22 km), Cordes occupies a remarkable site, perched high upon a rocky hill overlooking the Cerou valley. A medieval village, presently home to artisans and craftsmen, you can visit beautiful old homes whose appearance has been carefully preserved.

Musées

French museum Albi

While you're in Albi, make sure you visit Musée Toulouse-Lautrec, located in the Palais de la Berbie, houses the world's largest collection of the work of Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, who was born here on November 24, 1864.

The collection includes paintings from Toulouse-Lautrec's early periods, the landscapes of Ceylaran, portraits, posters, and a large collection of drawings.
